It’s amazing just how fast a computer runs with a Solid-State-Drive (SSD), instead of a conventional mechanical disk drive. Since the larger sized SSDs have became a bit less expensive, they’ve become a really good option. A laptop or PC with an SSD will typically start Windows in about 9-11 seconds and be responsive almost immediately. Added to that, everything seems to run much faster. The capacity of some SSDs are still a bit smaller than the old type drives, but way faster. If you need any huge amount of storage, you can always add a second drive or external drive for that purpose. I don’t have time to even think about a coffee with that new laptop running on a Solid-State-Drive.
